COVID-19 Event Information
While we certainly hope — and are planning — for an in-person conference in January, we will follow all recommendations and guidance from the CDC, the Virginia Department of Health and the University of Mary Washington. It is possible that the conference may be offered virtually, rather than in person. If the status of the conference changes we will notify all registrants and CCA members as soon as possible.
To protect the health and safety of our conference attendees and the UMW community, masking is required inside all university buildings regardless of vaccination status, except while eating and drinking in authorized areas. All attendees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have proof of a negative COVID test taken within 48 hours of the start of the conference. Attendees may display proof of vaccination on a smartphone or by showing a physical copy of the vaccination card or official vaccination record upon check-in. “Fully vaccinated” means that 14 days have passed since either the second shot of a CDC or WHO-approved two-shot vaccine or since the administration of a CDC or WHO-approved one-shot vaccine.
