If you are driving to campus, use the address 3611 Canal Road NW for GPS. Putting Georgetown University into your navigation will take you to our main gates — where there is no parking.
Anyone with questions about arriving to campus can contact Teresa Mannix at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All CCA attendees should park in Georgetown’s Southwest Garage. There is a fee — either $5 per hour or $25 per day. This garage only accepts cash, and payment is due upon entry to the garage.
Even if you are staying at the Georgetown Hotel and Conference Center, park in the Southwest Garage. Due to construction on campus, the garage rate at the hotel is now $75 per day.
To find the Hariri Building, exit the garage on the side opposite from where you entered. Take the elevator or stairs to the first floor and proceed to the doorway that leads outside. Turn left — the Hariri Building is at the top of the hill beyond the athletic field.
To find the Georgetown Hotel and Conference Center, enter the Hariri Building and take the elevator to the third floor. Walk to the opposite side of the building and exit onto a brick patio. Walk straight across and into the next building. Turn left and follow the hallway around to the front desk of the hotel.
For individuals driving to the conference, please see the Georgetown University directions to the main campus. Navigate to 3611 Canal Road NW (and not the street address for the university).
Note: For drivers taking Route 66 from the West, there are new Express Lane rules inside the beltway. You must have an EZ Pass transponder to continue into the city on Route 66 between the hours of 5:30 and 9:30 a.m. and traveling out of the city between 3 and 7 p.m. on weekdays. If you have two or more riders, you can use a transponder switched to the HOV mode to travel for free. (Even if you are riding HOV, you must have an HOV transponder.)
For solo drivers who do not wish to pay the toll or for drivers without an EZ Pass, an alternate route is to take the Beltway toward Tysons Corner/Baltimore and exit at the Clara Barton Parkway (the first exit after crossing the American Legion Bridge). Continue straight — it will become Canal Road and eventually run along the campus.
The free Georgetown University shuttle that runs between the Rosslyn Metro and campus also stops at the Marriott. Learn more at https://transportation.georgetown.edu/guts.
To find the Hariri Building, follow the road past the Thompson Athletic Center. Continue straight up the hill — the Hariri Building is at the top of the hill beyond the athletic field.
